Pacific Northwest Labour History Association Conference "When Unions Matter Most: Opportunities for Collaboration & Solidarity"

Friday & Saturday nights at W2 - 111 West Hastings (old Woodoward's - look for the London Drugs), Vancouver

Saturday & Sunday daytime sessions at SFU Harbour Centre, 515 West Hastings, Vancouver

Details:

This is the 43rd annual conference of the Pacific Northwest Labour History Association, bringing together trade union and social justice activists, academics, students and many others

Registration is open until 8:00 am Wed. June 15 you can register on-line through the link at www.pnlha.org

After that please email pnlha@shaw.ca to say you will register at the door and if you will attend dinner.

COST: Conference $100 regular or $35 low income  /  Dinner $40 regular or $25 low income

Please also note that you can attend just the Friday night reception and session on Farm Worker Unions. This evening will be of particular interest to anyone involved with agricultural worker issues. The cost for non-conference registrants is only $10 for the Friday evening reception and presentation. Pay at the door.

The June 17th reception includes a book launch at 5:00 pm with author Ben Isitt launching his new book "Militant Minority: British Columbia Workers and the Rise of a New Left, 1948-72".
