Dear Friend of Medicare, Are you concerned about the federal government's commitment to public health care? Troubled by the argument that our publci health care system is “unsustainable”? Worried about the state of Home and Community Care for seniors and people with disabilities? Federal Liberal Health Critic Dr. Hedy Fry has organized a Special Town Hall meeting on the future of Health Care in order to hear from Vancouver residents about the kind of public health care system they would like to see sustained for themselves and future generations. The BC Health Coalition encourages all public health care supporters to attend this important event and send a message that the federal government must play an active role in supporting Medicare and enforcing the Canada Health Act. |
