Vancouver, BC Click here for map. | Details: | In celebrating International Women’s Day 2012, Amnesty International will be holding a Freeze Flash Mob!
All you need to do is show up at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 11:55am sharp wearing purple clothing (and/or any kind of purple accessories). Organizers will provide newspapers that have words relating to women’s rights written on them.
At noon, everyone will freeze for 4 minutes while pretending to read the newspaper in order to emphasize that women’s issues should be on the world’s daily agenda everywhere.
