Details:

A community forum to follow up on the Ombudsperson's report, hear about recent research on access to home and community care services in BC, and discuss how we can raise the profile of seniors issues over the coming months. We hope this forum will build on the excellent ideas and discussions that took place at a similar event on March 5, shortly after the Ombudsperson's report was released.

SPEAKERS:  

BC Ombudsperson Kim Carter will join us to give an update on her work. Additional speakers and details to be announced soon.

Service providers, community organizations, people or groups who work directly with seniors, organizations representing service providers or seniors care workers, advocates, members of the Lower Mainland seniors-led community planning tables, and others who would find it valuable to participate.
