Name of Event:

Community Town Hall on Delivering Community Power - A Vision for the Transformation of Postal Services. The candidates for the Federal Burnaby South by-election have been invited to participate and will be in attendance.

When:

Saturday, February 9, 2019, starting at 6:30 pm

Where:

Burnaby Firefighters Banquet and Conference Centre
6515 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby.
This is near the Metrotown Skytrain station. There is lots of parking.

Details:

The candidates for the Federal Burnaby South by-election have been invited. This will be a town hall on how the postal service can drive a transition from fossil fuels to a renewable and more equitable economy.

This is a non -partisan town hall. It will focus on Delivering Community Power, a vision for the transformation of our postal services into community hubs of renewal energy and expanded services, like postal banking and support services for seniors.

Hosted by Canadian Union of Postal Workers National President Mike Palecek, and partners of the Delivering Community Power coalition, including ACORN.
