The BC Federation of Labour is seeking assistance to present the 20th Annual Labour Community Christmas Dinners taking place in Vancouver and in Surrey for those in our communities who are less fortunate. Volunteer union members provide all aspects of preparing and serving a hot turkey dinner with all the trimmings and organize music, carol sing-alongs, gifts from Santa for every child and teenager, a visit to the boutique and a food hamper. And the clean-up! The BC Fed needs the following items: • unwrapped toys & gifts for teenagers • non-perishable foods • new and gently used, washed clothing for men, women and children • jackets, hats, socks, gloves, toiletries, jewelry Cash or cheque donations are also welcome.
